I love the internet, because not only can I needlessly and pointlessly post about my thoughts during a morbid swing of depression, but also not more than 15 minutes later find something hilarious to cheer me up like this.

So I came to a realization a while ago. I think the only reason Kelly got in a relationship with me was because she needed me. She needed someone to depend on. And when I needed her, she wasn't willing to go the other way for me, and she realized she didn't need me to be happy anymore.
I've realized that relationship was a mistake from the start. I'm the idiot who's still stuck after a year and she's the one who couldn't be happier not giving a damn about me.
It's funny, I've watched movies like Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and The Breakup and thought "heh, that'll never happen to us, we're better than that. We'll work whatever problems we might have out before it gets that bad. Kelly trusts me to believe in her." How foolish and naive I was. |

Heh, I just found out the guy who's playing Amile in the play is currently playing Jafar in the Alladin musical. Kinda freaky. |

So who wants to go see the play I'm working on? I have two free tickets to give away and so does Wistan. We're doing South Pacific, set during world war 2 about romance and racial prejudice. It's pretty good, and you totally can't ever see me cuz I'm like a ninja, who moves set pieces... |

Have you ever had the feeling where you have nothing to look forward to? Where you wish you could go to sleep and not wake up? I hate emotions, they're so stupid and uncontrollable. They make you do stupid things like cry or want to jump off a tall building. I know I have so much ahead of me, in just a few days all of this will be over and I'll be able to not worry any more. The logical side of my brain knows this, but the emotional side fucks it all up because it has nothing better to do. I just wish I could be somewhere else.
Going through all my old junk isn't helping either. Almost all of it is from Kelly. It's painful to look at, and it's painful to throw away. It's all just stupid stuff like ticket stubs from places we went to together. So many places. So many stuffed animals. What do I do with them? Give them back? Keep them?
I don't think I'll be making it by tonight. I don't want to be alone. My mom is so horrible. |

Toyota Prius = $22,000 Mileage = 45 miles per gallon (as per here) Average cost of gas = $3.21 (here) Cost to drive one mile = $0.0713
Toyota Corolla = $14,000 Mileage = 34 mpg (here) Cost to drive one mile = $0.0944
Cost of Prius over Corolla = $8,000 Money saved per mile = $0.023 Distance required to travel to break even = 346,644 miles At an average of 15,000 miles per year time required to break even = 23 years
And all that is assuming none of the batteries go bad, which is bound to happen over the course of 20 years and 300 thousand miles.
Also, for those claiming the prius is better on the environment, there have been numerous studies that show that the prius is actually worse for the environment once you look beyond whats coming out the tail pipe.
Just look here: Prius Outdoes Hummer in Environmental Damage
Building a Toyota Prius causes more environmental damage than a Hummer that is on the road for three times longer than a Prius. As already noted, the Prius is partly driven by a battery which contains nickel. The nickel is mined and smelted at a plant in Sudbury, Ontario. This plant has caused so much environmental damage to the surrounding environment that NASA has used the ‘dead zone’ around the plant to test moon rovers. The area around the plant is devoid of any life for miles.
So basically the prius is an ego boost and a status icon for those who want the world to know how important they are.
As a side note, it's always funny to see a prius in the car-pool lane (with only one person) driving slower than the rest of traffic, while I'm in a car with 3 other people being more fuel efficient than the guy in the prius, and passing him. What's the point of being in the carpool lane when there's no traffic and you're just going to go slower than everyone?
Edit: One thing I forgot: Kawasaki Ninja EX250 = $3000 Mileage = 60 mpg Cost to drive one mile = $0.053

It's funny how you can think you know someone, and how you can trust in them to trust you, but then it turns out that they've been lying straight to your face for the past six months, and now you're stuck with emotions you can't deal with, and all you got as explanation was "I'm sorry" and a cold shoulder.
I wish I could say the experience has somehow made me a better person. |
